  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships, or practical experience in school or work (e.g. open-source coding).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience working with one or more of the following: web or mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
  • Ability to start in 2024

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$168,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Take on tasks as requested, following through to completion despite roadblocks or distractions.
