We are currently seeking a Senior SQL Data Analyst - REMOTE to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).
Day To Day Responsibilities
- Work closely with our escalation team to identify data quality issues and answer key business questions
- Participate daily on tier 1 and tier 2 incidents associated to data issues arising
- Build and maintain our anomaly detection and quality control system
- Build and maintain power bi reports and dashboards associated to transaction processing
- Contribute to our strategy for new data pipelines and data engineering approaches
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst
- 5+ years proven effectiveness in solving technical problems using SQL
- Experience in Oracle, SQL Server, Postgresql, and Snowflake
- Strong Python experience with pandas, sklearn, numpy, matplotlib
- Very strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Data Science
- First party, Third Party or Workers comp Claims Insurance background is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Smart Advisor or Decision Point is a plus
