With an impressive net revenue retention rate of 99% they work with brands including Lululemon, A&W, Vans, In-N-Out Burger, Buffalo Wild Wings, Levi's and many others and specialize in developing intuitive models using only 100-3000+ store location data points.
About the role: Senior Predictive Analyst
- The role will require the craft of building sales forecasting models using statistical/quantitative analysis skills approach + intuition + creative problem-solving approach using small sets of data
- Model Building:
- Work with existing client base to develop sales forecasting systems by receiving, cleaning, and validating data
- Process and integrate client and mobile data in subsequent project phases to develop customer profiles and perform trade area analysis and rules
- Select intuitive variables that clients will understand and agree with, providing a narrative explaining the impact of each variable on the client's performance
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance through the process on all models, recipes, and deliverables, utilizing a combination of manual data verification and innovative methods to identify and rectify undesirable patterns
- Works on a range of models including machine learning and regression analysis
- Research & Development: Conduct R&D to develop new data science techniques leading to the creation of innovative predictive modelling product deliverables and operational process efficiencies
- Client Management: Support the client management team by explaining analytical and modelling methodologies to existing clients in a simple and intuitive way while collaborating with managers during the model kickoff process to discuss relevant questions to create a model strategy plan
- Team Leadership: Foster an ego-free, positive and productive environment while suggesting and implementing process enhancements that increase efficiency, and stakeholder experience, and reduce errors for project execution
Requirements for Consideration
- This role is best suited for someone comfortable operating in 'the grey' where the solution is a balance of art and science
- Strong statistical quantitative analysis experience working with small sets of data points
- MUST have a strong sense of logic with a natural ability to combine statistical approach with intuition and creative problem-solving approach
- Experience with KNN, Random Forest, K-means Clustering,
- Education: Must have relevant education in either Econometrics, Quantitative methods, data science, or social sciences
- This is a hybrid role which will require 2-3 days in office located in Kits
