Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst is integral to the success of the Business Development Research & Data team, and to CAAT’s guiding mission and growth strategy.
This role’s primary focus will be data management and reporting to assist the Pension Solutions team in proactively managing relationships with external organizations and reporting on activities. The role provides additional support in performing research and documenting processes as required.
The role works closely with the Manager, Business Development Research & Data and guides the team’s other analysts and co-op students in a fast-paced environment with concurrent deliverables.
We are looking for someone with:
- A degree or diploma in data management, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the pension or finance sectors.
- Experience with Salesforce and either holding or working towards Salesforce certification.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, set priorities, and oversee team projects independently.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and/or Power BI is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- A knack for innovative thinking and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of pension plans, group benefits, or labor relations is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Once here you will:
- Guide the team in maintaining, processing, and analyzing stakeholder data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Train and support new team members and internal stakeholders on tools and processes, providing clear documentation and updates.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators to support strategic initiatives and inform decision-making.
- Investigate and implement improvements in Salesforce, working with relevant teams to develop and test new features.
- Develop and apply best practices to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to process improvements.
- Coordinate with internal teams on various projects, initiatives, and training efforts, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
- Review and provide feedback on the work of data analysts and co-op students, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Conduct research to address data gaps and support organizational needs, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of data requirements.
