Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, the Senior BI Reporting and Predictive Analytics Analyst will create best in class commercial reporting, ensure standardization across the organization on tracking the right KPI’s and ensure consistency. This person will further lead the predictive analytic and data modeling development for AWC into key process like market forecasting and segment evolution.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, the Senior BI Reporting and Predictive Analytics Analyst will create best in class commercial reporting, ensure standardization across the organization on tracking the right KPI’s and ensure consistency. Key Responsibilities
Power BI Reports & Dashboards Development and Maintenance
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support Sales & Marketing teams in answering recurrent questions for internal business reviews as well as in external meetings with the customer.
- Support Sales & Marketing customer needs – perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns to support business decisions, develop ad-hoc reports, complex custom calculations and KPI’s required by the business, facilitate consistent planning and measurement of market trends and performance.
- Revise existing reports, calculations, develop and distribute custom datasets and reports.
- Work in close relationship with Data Science team to accelerate development of advanced forecasting models to predict sales trends, market demand, and other relevant business metrics.
- Capture key macro-economic factors impacting alcoholic beverage sales across the country and anticipate future impact on sales.
- Support and develop other advanced data analytics solutions to support the Sales & Marketing teams.
- Develop expert knowledge of all data sets in terms of differences between provinces, channels, metrics, etc.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data / reporting processes, including step-by-step guides and best practices, regularly update documentation to reflect changes and improvements in processes.
- Work closely with Data Integrity Analyst and IT team and oversee data quality processes and methodologies.
- Support Power BI end-users by providing training, manuals, FAQ documents to help users understand and interpret data.
- Become the key resource for user questions regarding the utilization of datasets.
- University Degree, Degree in quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
- 3-5 years in business intelligence or analytical role
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Advanced analysis skills with particular attention to detail
- Hands on experience with Power BI, Power Query, advanced knowledge of DAX, M languages
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, AI add-ons)
- Strong knowledge of Data Visualization best practices and techniques, with a keen eye for visual data storytelling
- Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and building predictive ML and Statistical models
- Advanced analytical skills with particular attention to detail and commitment to develop high-quality data analytics solutions
- Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively both independently and as a team member
- Strong prioritizing and planning skills
- Microsoft Certification “Power BI Data Analyst Associate” (PL-300)
- Portfolio of Power BI reports / dashboards showcasing data visualization skills and DAX knowledge
- GitHub profile with examples of advanced data analytics, predictive modeling
