As a Robotics Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and integrating robotic systems into our ultrasonic testing equipment. You will work closely with a team of engineers to create automated solutions that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robotic systems for material handling, part positioning, and probe manipulation within ultrasonic testing environments
- Integrate robotic components and sensors into existing ultrasonic testing systems
- Develop and implement advanced control algorithms for robotic systems
- Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept demonstrations for new robotic applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve robotic system issues
- Collaborate with software engineers to develop user-friendly interfaces for robotic systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics technology
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in robotics engineering
- Strong knowledge of robotics programming and control systems
- Experience with robotic sensors and actuators
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in the English language and above-average communication skills
- Experience with industrial robotics and automation
- Knowledge of machine vision and image processing
- Experience with simulation and modeling tools
- ABB and Staubi is a plus
