Microwave and Spectroscopy Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Engineer
Role Overview:
Join our team as an AI/ML Engineer focused on integrating and advancing machine learning algorithms within our cutting-edge microwave detection technology. This position involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to innovate and develop AI solutions that improve the functionality and application of our medical devices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance machine learning algorithms for our innovative medical device technology.
- Work with manufacturers and engineers to integrate AI systems that improve diagnostics and patient monitoring.
- Utilize deep learning, neural networks, and image processing to analyze and interpret complex medical data.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in relevant field or 5+ years of experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
- Proficient understanding of Deep Learning algorithms.
- Expertise in machine learning libraries and frameworks, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
- Experience with algorithm implementation on GPUs.
- Proven ability in solving inverse problems using advanced signal processing and machine learning techniques, especially inverse scattering problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with signal and image processing algorithms, particularly for microwave detection systems.
- Knowledge of compressed sensing theory.
- Familiarity with time-domain radar-based signal processing methods.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team within a fast-paced prototyping and product development environment.
- Familiarity with medical device regulatory standards and a clear understanding of the application of AI technologies within FDA-regulated environments.
- 5+ years of relevant research experience or a Ph.D. in a field related to microwave detection.
- Ability to develop data analysis algorithms and software tools to interpret spectral data acquired through dual-comb spectroscopy.
- Experience in calibrating dual-comb spectroscopy systems.
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetics and signal processing methods.
