Head of Artificial Intelligence

Overview:

The organization is at the forefront of healthcare innovation, integrating cutting-edge techniques in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science into our offerings. We are seeking a Head of AI to build and lead these teams, drive advancements, oversee an AI team to deliver and deploy AI based products within the healthcare space, and serve as a key spokesperson for these innovations with our stakeholders. This leader will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, scientific, and business teams on a daily basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s strategy for AI, ML, and data science in collaboration with colleagues across the organization.
• Lead an AI-focused initiative to deliver innovative solutions and measurable improvements across our product lines in clinical research, care delivery, and financial services.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of AI, ML, and data science experts.
• Maintain the highest standards of scientific integrity and ethical practices in the development and application of AI technologies in healthcare.
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and foster partnerships with customers, industry, and academic collaborators.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or related fields, with at least 6 years in leadership roles.
• Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Operations Research.
• Proven track record of delivering products that incorporate AI, machine learning, and data science to create significant customer value within a healthcare and or medical device based organization.
• Effective leadership skills to drive execution in dynamic environments and strong interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with partners
