As a technology innovation leadership team in the fast-growing OPPO Research Center, we are looking for talented Data Scientists to join our Research and Development team. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000-$300,000 + bonus + long term incentives benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to deliver data-informed insights and solutions for business problems in a wide range of decision-making situations including AI product design and improvement, user growth, recommender system, and targeted ads
- Working closely with AI product managers and engineers to design and enhance comprehensive solutions for AI product design
- Creating scalable, efficient, and automated workflows for data analysis, feature engineering in machine learning model development, and model monitoring, to address business challenges such as user growth, recommender systems, and ad targeting
- Collaborating with key decision makers to uncover actionable, clear insights into user experiences, revenue changes, and their driving factors
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline, such as computer science, machine learning, or math/statistics
- A strong passion for leveraging data science technology to drive data-informed business decisions, combined with deep insights and expertise in user experience and growth
- Expertise in statistical analysis, including A/B testing, causal inference, feature engineering, funnel analysis, etc
- Experience in working with large datasets. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools to create automated data processes and business reports
- Experience in managing enterprise-level databases in distributed systems
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and a strong track record of delivering real-world business problem solution
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments
