About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in analyzing sales and marketing data to develop complex predictive demand models. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical skills combined with marketing knowledge to optimize growth strategies.
How you’ll contribute
- Develop and maintain predictive models for sales growth, customer behavior, and lifetime value.
- Create a dynamic portfolio model to evaluate various scenarios for spend allocation across multiple channels.
- Collaborate with Growth and Finance teams to provide insights for business opportunities aimed at incremental revenue growth.
- Lead quantitative analyses to offer insights to executive leadership regarding marketing performance and member behavior.
- Create and maintain dashboards for tracking key marketing metrics.
- Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools.
- Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency within the marketing funnel.
- Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data science, ideally in a marketing or growth-oriented role.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Experience with Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to synthesize complex information and data to support decision-making.
Location:
This role is open to applicants in the US, Canada, LATAM, UK, or Europe. Compensation (salary and equity) is competitive based on location.
