BS/BA in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics/Statistics field
2+ years of Machine-Learning experience
AWS Sagemaker
LLM (Llama, Mistral, etc.)
R or Python
AWS Certifications (Data Science, Data Engineer, Solution Architect, Machine-learning, etc.) or similar certification is highly preferred!
Preferred, But Not Required
Graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative fields such as Statistics
Is a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), or Open Group Certified Data Scientist
Java experience
TensorFlow experience
Job Description
Construct algorithms and writing computer programs to perform Descriptive (what happened), Diagnostic (why it happened), Predictive (what will happen), and Prescriptive analytics on large datasets
Identify/Assess/Validate data sources and create automated collection processes, as well as assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Undertake the preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms; also, develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to datasets.
Modify, create, and deploy applications using foundation models and llms, to solve generative AI challenges
Present information using data visualization techniques
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
