Job Description:
- Faster Response to Data Disruption Investigations:
- Manage the investigation and resolution of data disruptions.
- Implement proactive measures to prevent future data issues.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure a swift response to any data-related emergencies per SLA.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all technical and product-related discussions with partners.
- Ensure successful interactions and collaborations with Placer partner by understanding and meeting their technical needs.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and external partners to align on goals and objectives.
- Closer Timezone Alignment/Round-the-Clock Observability and Escalation:
- Work in close timezone alignment with partners to ensure effective communication.
- Implement and oversee a round-the-clock observability system for data monitoring and rapid escalation of issues.
- Increased Alignment in Data Delivery Formats, Data Feeds, and Data Quality:
- Standardize and align data delivery formats and data feeds with partners' requirements.
- Ensure high standards of data quality and consistency in data delivery.
- Collaborate with data teams to improve data processes and systems.
Must Have: DataBricks
AWS (Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora, S3 and more)
Relational and Non-Relational Databases
Python, SQL, AWS Glue Framework, AWS Athena, Apache Spark, Tableau or equivalent reporting tools
Data Lake, CI/CD, Terraform, Deployment automation, GitHub Actions, DataDog and/or CloudWatch Monitoring, ETL Pipelines, Data Warehouses, Data Quality.
