Data Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Business Data Analyst to join the Business Analytics team of a major Canadian financial institution. The team is currently working on a collections project, so we are looking for someone with previous experience in collections, repayments, write-offs, bankruptcy, or solvency.

Responsibilities include

- Maintaining & enhancing reporting (30%)

- Attending meetings with business partners to understand project requirements and data (30%)

- Building reporting through SAS/ Excel and doing data exploration (40%)

Must-haves

- 5+ years of hands on professional SAS experience for data extraction, manipulation and report building

- Proficient in procsql, data

- Strong Excel experience

- Experience with collections, repayments, write-offs, bankruptcy, or solvency or related

- Previous experience collaborating with business partners/ project management

- Excellent communication skills
