Role Description:

This is a full-time remote role based in Canada for a Data Analyst at CarbonSuite. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data, utilizing statistical techniques, and presenting findings to support business decision-making. You will also be involved in data modeling and ensuring data accuracy and integrity in support of our software solution and marketing strategy. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing high volumes of critical data
  • ETL processing of data
  • Performing software test automation
  • Writing detailed product specifications
  • Conducting market and technical research
  • Creating presentations, marketing materials
  • Coordinating marketing activities
  • Developing and supporting operational processes

This is a dynamic role, so be prepared to wear multiple hats as the company's needs evolve and grow.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a Canadian resident
  • A passion for sustainability and climate change with a drive to make the world a better place
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems or Environmental Science (with data science experience)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
  • Analytical Skills, Data Analytics, and Statistics
  • Experience in data modeling and database management
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, R)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and can excel with minimal direction
  • Learns and iterates quickly, embracing a fail-fast approach and growing from mistakes
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback
  • Demonstrates punctuality and reliability by consistently meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable reporting directly to CarbonSuite executive leadership
  • Experience with sustainability reporting or carbon accounting is a plus


Base Salary Range: $40,000/yr - $55,000/yr CAD
