Overview

  • Reporting to the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
  • Creating and generating reports using ETO client information system
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing extracts, reports, and performance indicators to identify and resolve problems, including data quality, integrity issues following data governance policies
  • Coordinates and prepares comprehensive data analysis and statistical reports for research, evaluation, policy, program and service activities
  • Using statistical analysis software to lead the development and delivery of functional analytics to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Working with the department leads, Program Directors, and other relevant staff, ensure that the agency regularly reviews efforts towards outputs/outcomes (e.g., values, number of efforts, times spent)
  • Review all custom and standard reports for accuracy and timeliness so that the database maintains real time information about program participants and ensures that the agency has a process in place for a regular review conducted by appropriate staff (e.g., program manager)
  • Working with department leads to develop and maintain Policies, Standards and Controls about the safety of data in regard to regulatory compliance
  • Building advanced data visualizations (Tableau reports, infographics, scorecards, dashboards) that will support the dissemination of administrative data including outcomes and key performance indicators
  • Providing well-structured reports and documents to convey analysis and insights that are clear, concise and reader-friendly
  • Managing critical timelines and ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Performing other duties as required

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will be a team player who has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Their analytical ability and attention to detail coupled with their ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines is a must.
  • Familiarity with ETO (Efforts to Outcomes) or another case management database is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably within Computer Science, Statistics or approved equivalent combination of education and experience, with minimum two year’s experience in data analysis and management- including database design and advanced report writing using Structured Query Language (SQL) and other relational databases.
  • Experience with ETO, Tableau, and/or Qualtrics considered an asset
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g. R, SPSS)
  • Fluency in a programming language (e.g. Python) and or other programming languages would be an asset.
  • Proven passion for the data quality discipline
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Extremely meticulous in approach to work and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Proven ability to meet established deadlines
  • Ability to quickly learn new tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
