KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for developing value-added, actionable insights, by leveraging both internal and external data combined with analytical techniques. Using a combined business, technical, and data-focused lens, this individual will transform raw data and numbers into meaningful insights through a combination of data feeds, reports, dashboards, and self-serve analytical tools. The successful candidate will be an energetic and self-motivated individual with strong software skills, a commitment to detail, and a keen client focus.
Data Governance and Management:
- with data management and data governance principles and practices, including but not limited to Business Glossary, Metadata Management, Data Quality Assessment, Data Issue Management, and Data Sharing Management.
- Understanding of data management practices, applicable techniques, and technology.
- Working with data governance tools e.g. metadata repositories and data quality solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview would be an advantage.
- understanding of data structures and the data lifecycle.
- with data storage, data processing, and data management technologies.
- Data-centric change initiatives (data migration, data transformation, data analysis, and insights) are an asset.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
