Healthcare Data Scientist
Metric Bio is delighted to be partnered with a leading digital health company in the Cardiology space.
They are looking to build out their development team, and want to hire an experienced Healthcare Data Scientist.
In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the company's product, commercial and leadership team with insights gained from analyzing data. This will include managing and analysing large information related to patients, healthcare providers, clinical research and government agencies.

Where you must be located
- Anywhere in the US - it is a remote role
Experience required:
- Proven ability to drive business results with data-based insights.
- Adept using large data set to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action.
- Strong understanding of probability and statistics
- Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Experience working with and creating data architectures.
- Experience using advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib)
- 7+ years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
- Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques
- Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages
- Experience using web services
- Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics
- Experience with distributed data/computing tools
