Entry Level Data Scientist

An exciting Bio-Medical start up is looking for an Entry-Level Data Scientist to join their Data and Analytics team on a Perm basis. The firm is headquartered in Washington DC but this role is open to fully remote.

The firm are looking for a eager, motivated Data Scientist with some level of commercial experience in Data Science. This role will be a valuable member of the Data and Analytics team and help contribute in analyzing consumer data to drive business decisions and gain valuable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Support in crafting and deploying data collection frameworks and analytics systems.
• Dive into expansive and intricate datasets to unearth meaningful trends and patterns crucial for shaping company strategies.
• Develop visualizations and reports to efficiently convey discoveries to team members and management.
• Collaborate closely with senior data scientists and stakeholders to grasp their data requirements and deliver thorough analyses.
• Engage in data cleaning and preprocessing activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Contribute to the creation of predictive models and machine learning algorithms aimed at tackling business obstacles.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience of data manipulation and analysis with tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and a penchant for collaborative work. * Showcase strong communication skills, capable of elucidating complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Show enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a dynamic industry environment.
