Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze data for various studies.
- Provide final data sets and perform statistical analysis.
- Construct processes for data entry and quality assurance.
- Perform data entry and quality checks.
Database Management:
- Create and maintain databases and data workflows.
- Ensure appropriate variables are captured and formatted for analysis.
- Apply statistical techniques to produce tables and graphs.
- Support data sharing and prepare standardized data for databases.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Create and maintain reports.
- Complete data analyses and draft manuscripts.
- Maintain data for past and present studies.
- Compile detailed reports from analysis projects.
Storage and Backup Management:
- Maintain and update electronic copies of databases and data dictionaries.
- Perform data audits for quality assurance.
- Follow policies and procedures for data storage and access.
Database Design and Development:
- Develop and maintain data management and quality assurance procedures.
- Document methods and results for reproducibility.
- Participate in the design and implementation of data reporting tools.
Coordination and Quality Assurance:
- Coordinate statistical data analysis for ongoing studies.
- Establish procedures to address data inconsistencies.
- Develop data dictionaries and enhance data management practices.
- Meet with data customers to assess requirements and provide auditing services.
