Summary Of Position
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to work on an exciting project that is very rewarding. In this role, you will provide quantitative modeling and research for the project. You will independently navigate a complex and evolving data environment, develop code to translate semi-structured text to structured data, perform complex modeling and statistical analysis to identify anomalous events, and migrate evolving analytic workflow into production use.

Job Specifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, International Relations, Mathematics, Statistics, Political Science, or related field.
- Experience with R, Python or related software package.
- Experience with advanced analytic methods such as ordinal logistic regression, copulas, LASSO/elastic nets, bootstrapping, and k-fold cross validation.
- Knowledge of and experience with machine learning, data wrangling, advanced statistical data analysis and modeling
- The ability to perform complex analyses and communicate its results using accurate, concise, and effective writing.
