Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will handle technical problems and customer data inquiries. The majority of requests will be received via a ticketing system, but it will also be necessary to interact directly with customers, either verbally or by email. This position will provide various tools to diagnose and resolve the most frequent issues.

Responsibilities of the Data Analyst position:

• Provide technical support to customers quickly and effectively
• Solve problems using various IT tools (web applications, internal databases) or escalate them to other departments able to find a solution
• Identify common causes and issues and communicate them to the team and customers
• Open tickets that describe all client communications (problem definition, problem resolution, etc.)
• Protect the confidentiality and personal information of customers
• Perform troubleshooting as needed and investigate data quality incidents or performance issues and their resolutions
• Produce different types of reports
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve the efficiency of the operational team and reduce risks
• Perform all other related tasks
  
  
  

Qualifications for the Data Analyst position:

• Bachelor's degree with a technical specialization, such as computer science or management information systems
• Over 3 years of experience in data analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with SQL, Linux, and Oracle is an asset
• Knowledge of the travel industry is an asset
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience in customer service
• Able to participate in a team providing 24/7 support
