Data Visualization Analyst/ Data Analytics

Job Title: Data Analyst Duration: 12 months on w2 with possible extension Location: Remote Description: Experience Level: 5-7 years Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database[s]. Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. As a motivated self-starter you will be able to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment. Proven attention to detail and an extensive eye for business will allow you to work efficiently with business partners across Finance, Sales, Product and Marketing to build business narratives and metrics for success. Additionally, you will define and test hypotheses, and deliver practical insights through data visualizations. You will succeed by having an eye on the big picture and challenge the status quo. 5+ years industry experience in data analytics / data visualization role, including 3+ years' experience communicating analytical findings to executives. Experience includes metric dashboarding, storytelling, and presentation skills, and making recommendations based on data backed insights. -Mastery of SQL in a cloud data warehouse environment. -Mastery of data visualization software and design skills (e.g. Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) -Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes and a demonstrable understanding of database design principles. -Degree in quantitative field or equivalent experience
