Mission Statement: Alertgy is on a mission to bring a real-time, non-invasive blood glucose monitor to markets world-wide. We are focused on innovative technology to help facilitate diabetes management. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced artificial intelligence (AI) engineer to join our team. You will be working closely with specialists to develop, maintain, and improve algorithms used in our Non-Invasive Continuous Glucose Monitor (NICGM) wristband alerting system which quantitively determines human glucose levels meeting Federal Drug Administration (FDA) or Conformity European (CE) requirements. Role and Responsibilities: You will be responsible for developing and optimizing the algorithms used in our NICGM wristband alerting system required to quantify glucose in the body with the following duties and responsibilities. Take leadership role in developing algorithms for our NICGM wristband alerting system. Develop and optimize AI models meeting requirements as well as manage project infrastructure. Interface with engineering, regulatory, quality, marketing, and manufacturing teams. Provide system level suggestions to optimize all aspects of Alertgy's NICGM system. Provide clear design review, validation testing, and management presentations. Ensure Regulatory requirements are met. Convert AI/ML models into APIs for other developers. Perform statistical analysis on big data sets. Experience QMS including version control. Skills and Qualifications: A successful experienced RF Engineer should have these prerequisite skills and familiarity with: Algorithm engineering. Ability to work without supervision and with team members in a supportive manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Database management, information retrieval and signal processing techniques. Data mining finding patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies, in large datasets. Deep learning, a method of training interconnected processing nodes. Machine Learning pre & post processing, visualization, classification, regression, and optimization. Understanding of low signal-to-noise non-linear time variant system design, preferred. Familiarity with MathWorks, Visual Studios, and Firebase as well as C, C++, and Python, preferred. High-level integrated development environments including TensorFlow, Pytorch, and Kubernetes. Coding with IEC 62304:2006 (Medical device software) familiarity, preferred. Basic understanding of radio frequency signal measurements is preferred. Experience developing medical devices is preferred. Calibration, interpolation, masking, exclusions, feature filtering, and data balancing, preferred. Optimization, neural networks, Fourier transforms, MARDs, Clarke error grid analysis, preferred. Education and training requirements: At least a bachelor's degree (however a master's degree is preferred), 10 years of experience or demonstrated ability to perform job functions.
